FAQs

  • Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, are injectable treatments that temporarily relax muscles by blocking nerve signals. This reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly on the forehead, around the eyes (crow's feet), and between the eyebrows (frown lines).

  • Depending on the product used, results typically start to become noticeable within 3 to 7 days after the injection, with full results appearing in about 2 weeks. The effects generally last 3 to 4 months, after which follow-up treatments are needed to maintain the results.

  • Good candidates for PRP hair restoration are those experiencing hair thinning or early hair loss, particularly from androgenic alopecia (male or female pattern baldness). It is most effective in individuals with mild to moderate hair loss. A consultation with a healthcare provider can determine if PRP is suitable for you.

  • A typical PRP hair restoration protocol involves a series of initial treatments, usually 3 to 4 sessions spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments are often recommended every 4 to 6 months to sustain the results. For even better results, your injector may suggest getting prescribed certain medications or supplements to aid in hair restoration.

  • PRP treatment is generally safe since it uses your own blood. Common side effects include mild pain, redness, or swelling at the injection sites. Rarely, infection or injury to blood vessels or nerves may occur. Discuss any concerns with your provider before treatment.
